For the second straight week, the bail hearing for the Wayne County doctor accused of taking explicit pictures of children was delayed Friday.
Police say Dr. David Blasczak took photos of his young patients private parts, while federal prosecutors allege he also bought thousands of sexually explicit images of children through a website out of India. He appeared in court again with his appointed public defender and was again granted more time to secure his own attorney after being unable to do so this week. The judge rescheduled the hearing to February 9th.
The 69-year-old pediatrician worked at the Clyde Family Health Center.
Blasczak remains in jail without bail.
