Despite changing times, scouting is going strong in Cayuga and Onondaga Counties.
Brian Ahsmann, District Executive of the Boy Scouts of America Longhouse Council said on Wednesday’s Finger Lakes Morning News scouting remains popular despite some setbacks.
He added the Boy Scouts have adopted a family program that will make cub packs all inclusive.
The family program begins on September 1st. If you want more information on getting your son or daughter into scouting, or if you would like to become a scout leader, go to the Longhouse Council website.
