In a statement, Dadey says that the well-respected public servant “will take the fight to Cuomo and bring the change our citizens need to Albany.”
“Andrew Cuomo is a bully whose failed policies are contributing to a mass exodus from communities all across this state. If we truly want to make New York the Empire State once again we need a new Governor who will put the people first, not put himself first. John DeFrancisco will make a fantastic Governor,” Dadey said.
The Senate Deputy Majority Leader officially entered the race on Tuesday, joining Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb and former Erie County Executive Jason Giambra. Kolb has received the endorsement of nine county party chairs across the Finger Lakes.
