A Tioga County man that allegedly stole items from the Watkins Glen Walmart is jailed after leading State Police on a chase that ended in neighboring Chemung County.
29 year old Jedidiah Bradford is accused of tossing drugs along with the stolen items, which included batteries and Sudafed, out of his car window during the chase. Schuyler County Sheriff’s Deputies were able to recover most of the discarded items. Bradford ended up losing control of his car and flew over a snow bank before crashing at the intersection of Sayre Street and South Avenue in Horseheads. Bradford tried to then take off on foot but was quickly caught. After searching the car, State Police found drugs and items used to make methamphetamine.
Bradford is charged with unlawful fleeing and unlawful manufacturing of meth in both Schuyler and Chemung Counties. He is also charged with burglary in Schuyler County.
