There were two milestones in Tuesday’s Auburn Maroons hockey game at Casey Park Arena.
Senior Captain Jake Morin scored five goals and added an assist in the Maroons’ 11-2 victory over Ontario Bay, making him the first player in the program’s history to record 200 career points.
Meanwhile, 8th grader Jack Chapman recorded the first two goals of his career in the third period.
The Maroons will take on Skaneateles at the Allyn Arena on Thursday night at 7:00pm in round two of the “Route 20 Rivalry.” Auburn defeated the Lakers 6-5 in a thrilling season opener at Casey Park on November 22. Jake Morin had two goals, including the game winner with just over a minute remaining in regulation time.
