Just after 11:30 Tuesday night, Seneca County 911 received a call of house fire at 2273 Lake Spur Road in Seneca Falls.
The Seneca Falls Fire Department, North Seneca Ambulance, and Seneca Falls Police Department were dispatched immediately. Police arrived on scene reporting heavy smoke and fire coming from the home.
Waterloo, Fayette, and Geneva Fire Department responded to assist in fighting the fire. The structure was determined to be an unoccupied vacation property.
The fire was declared under control after about an hour. The home sustained substantial damage and is believed to be a total loss.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Seneca Falls Fire Department. No injuries were reported.
