Autumn R. Kubissa, 100, died Sunday (January 7, 2018) at Newark-Wayne County Community Hospital. She had lived most of her life in Monroe and Wayne counties and most recently lived in the Wayne County Nursing Home in Lyons.
The family plans a private service, followed by burial at Irondequoit Cemetery.

She was born Dec. 18, 1917, in Ontario, Canada and later settled in the Rochester, N.Y. area where she married Henry W. Kubissa, who preceded her in death in 1991. Autumn raised a family of four children and worked various jobs in her life, including that of Bookkeeper at the George Eastman Museum.
She is survived by sons David (Cynthia) of Bradenton, Fla. and Larry (Darcy) of Clyde, N.Y.; a daughter, Kristin King of Rochester, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she was predeceased by a son, Frederick in 1979.
