The brutal cold snap that’s coming to an end will mean warmer temperatures, but snowmobilers are hoping the snow that came with the arctic blast sticks around. For those new to sledding, Sheriff David Gould has announced the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office is offering two Snowmobile Safety Courses this season.
The first is set for Sunday, January 21st from 8:00am until 4:00pm at Ira Fire Department on Route 176 in Cato, while the second will be held on Saturday, February 10th also from 8 until 4 at the Moravia Fire Department on Keeler Ave in Moravia.
The course is free for adults and children 10 an older and you’ll have to bring your own lunch.
You can register by calling Deputy Glen Dudley at 315-253-4905 or by email to email@example.com.
