Two people were killed in a structure fire Wednesday night in Tompkins County.
The fire was reported shortly before 6 at the Ward Heights Trailer Park in Newfield. Odessa, Enfield and Newfield firefighters all responded to the scene. The cause remains under investigation.
The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the fatalities Thursday but did not release the names of the two victims.
