Congressman John Katko says the tax reform bill headed to the President’s desk will be a boon for Central New York families and businesses.
The 24th District Representative said on Thursday’s Finger Lakes Morning News the first major tax reform since the Reagan era is not the end of the world portrayed by Democrats led by Sen. Chuck Schumer, Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
Katko said he had a collegial conversation with the Governor before the House vote.
He predicts the corporate tax cuts will help existing Central New York businesses and bring more companies and jobs to the region.
