They call it a hate crime. State Police say a Lyons man “forcibly broke into a home Sunday and directed racially motivated threats at the resident.” 32 year old Adam Doucet is charged with Burglary, Criminal Mischief and Aggravated Harassment . He is being held in the Wayne County jail on 5-thousand dollars cash bail.
The investigation was conducted in consultation with the State Police Hate Crimes Unit, an initiative created by Governor Cuomo in response to an increase in reports of bias-related crimes.
