Tyrone A. “Ty” Phillips, 77, died Sunday, (Dec. 10, 2017) at his home.
Friends may call Saturday (Dec. 16) from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will be held Monday (Dec. 18) at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Number Nine Cemetery.

Ty was retired from the Yates County Sheriff’s Department. He was a driver for the Amish and Mennonite Communities. He was the former owner of Phillips Construction, Clifton Springs; and had formerly worked for Hartmann Metal Fabricating in Victor, N.Y.
Ty was a member of the NRA and the North American Hunting Club. He enjoyed both hunting and fishing.
Ty is survived by his wife, Audrey “Jeanne” Phillips; two sons Robert (Jeanne Marie) Phillips and Charles (Jean) Phillips; one daughter, Regina (Ronald) Lewis; two grandsons Joshua and Kyle; two great-grandchildren; two brothers Glenn (Pat) Phillips and Walter (Delores) Phillips; one sister, Bonnie (Bill) Furkin; and several nieces and nephews.
