The differences in growing GMO and conventional corn crops will be the topic of a free information seminar on Wednesday hosted by the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Cayuga County.
Agronomist Keith Severson said on the Finger Lakes Morning News there was a push in 2016 for growers to switch from GMO to conventional corn seeds.
Ag sciences experts from Cornell will be on hand for the session that gets underway at 1:00pm at the CCE office on Grant Avenue.
