STEPS Weekly Update
December 8, 2017It’s hard to believe December is here! Read below to learn about some recent events and upcoming activities in the STEPS community. We would love to talk with you about ideas you may have, or if you are new to STEPS, discuss projects that you might like to participate in. We currently have 3 focus groups that meet; Increasing Economic & Educational Opportunities, Improving the Physical Environment, and Improving Personal Health and Wellness. All 3 groups are looking for new members. Contact the STEPS office at (607) 403-0069 or email@example.com for more information on how to get involved. Santa stopped by during the December 1st Family Movie Night! After visiting with Santa, all enjoyed popcorn while watching Frosty the Snowman. A free copy of the book will be given to each child at a later date.

Interlaken resident, Caroline Peterson was assigned to STEPS from June through December 7th as an Ameri-Corps Volunteer. She was an asset to our staff and continues to be involved in the community. We thank Caroline for all her work in the STEPS community and wish her well in her future endeavors.
