A Syracuse woman faces a felony DWI charge following a traffic stop on December 2.
State Troopers arrested 39-year old Cali Farrance of Syracuse for felony driving while intoxicated as a result of two previous convictions within the past ten years, along with operating a motor vehicle with a BAC greater than .08%, refusal to submit to a breath test, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection and speeding.
Farrance was stopped on Short Cut Road in the Village of Meridian for speeding and was placed under arrest after failing multiple standard field sobriety tests. Farrance was transported to the State Police barracks in Auburn after refusing the roadside breath test. She provided a breath sample of .15% BAC at the station.
Farrance was arraigned at the Town of Cato Court and remanded to the Cayuga County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash/$2,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in Town of Meridian court on Monday.
