State lawmakers are beginning to take a closer look at the books in the Empire State. Assemblyman Bob Oaks says the financial state of New York isn’t bleak and isn’t great, it’s more of a mixed bag.
On that last point, Oaks cites uncertainty over tax reform in Washington as a reason for the decline. Oaks, who was a guest on Monday’s Finger Lakes Morning News, also took some time to respond to claims made recently by Governor Andrew Cuomo.
