Plans are underway for another Women’s March in Seneca Falls.
The day after President Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th President of the United States about 10,000 people assembled at the Women’s Rights National Historical Park and marched around the block to the First Presbyterian Church.
March organizers say the must continue to be concerned over issues like pay equity, gender parity, passing an Equal Rights Amendment, environmental justice, fair treatment of immigrants and the disabled.
The next march is scheduled for January 20th, 2018.
Organizers of last January’s march at first expected about 800 to a 1,000 people, so many people came to Seneca Falls, it caused delay’s on the New York State Thruway at Exit 41.
