Mrs. Alice D. Valerio, 91, of Geneva, passed away on Thursday, (November 23, 2017) in the Living Center North at Geneva.
Friends may call at the DeVaney-Bennett Funeral Home, 181 N. Main St.,Geneva on Wednesday, (November 29, 2017) from 4-7 p.m.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2017 in the Seneca Castle United Methodist Church. The Rev. Terry Wiliford will officiate.
Burial will follow in Whitney Cemetery, Seneca Castle. Memorial Contributions, in her memory, may be made to Ontario Yates Hospice or to Living Center North at Finger Lakes Health.
Alice was born in New York, N.Y. and was a long time resident of the Geneva area. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Edith Rothert Dundas. She
was a beautician and a real estate agent with Century 21 in Geneva and Canandaigua. She was a band booster for Midlakes School System was a cub scout den leader and served on the Board of Elections and the Assessors Board for the Town of Seneca. She was a member of the Seneca Castle Methodist Church.
She is survived by her sons Stephen (Janice) Valerio of Geneva and Don (Heidi) Valerio of Seneca Castle; her daughters Loreen (Kevin) Farley of Salt Lake City, Utah and Christine (Phillip) Stoklosa of Rochester; her sister, Pearl Warner of Canandaigua; six grandchildren; two great- grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen Valerio; and five brothers and sisters.
