Mary Jane Coleman, age 78, of Waterloo and formerly of Romulus, died Friday, (November 24, 2017) at Hildebrandt Hospice Center of Rochester, N.Y.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, (November 29, 2017) at Covert Funeral Home, 7199 So. Main Street, Ovid. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Prayers of committal will be held privately at Holy Cross Cemetery in Ovid. Mary Jane was born August 26, 1939, in Reading, Pa., a daughter of the late Hilary and Florence Mae (Johnson) Davidheiser. She graduated from high school in Pottstown, Pa., and had lived in Romulus since 1977, moving to Waterloo in 2003.
She is survived her daughters Charlene A. (Glenn) Crawford of Lake Placid, Fla., Kimberly L. Matthys of Waterloo, Karen R. (George) Moriarity of Interlaken, Sherry L. (Patrick) Caward of Gastonia, N.C. and Victoria L. Coleman Mason of Waterloo; six grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren; and by her husband’s large extended family. Mary Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Coleman on December 2, 2002; and by a brother, Raymond L. Davidheiser; and a granddaughter, Shelby Coleman.
