A Savona man is accused of striking a woman in front of two children during a domestic dispute.
28-year-old Aaron Nichols is charged with 2 counts of endangering the welfare of a child, unlawful imprisonment, and harassment.
Nichols is being held in Steuben County Jail, and is due back in court December 4th.

New York State Troopers from the Bath barracks announce the arrest of a Savona man stemming from an investigation into a reported domestic dispute. Aaron P. Nichols, age 28, of Savona, New York, was arrested on 11/21/17 and charged with two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (a class “A” misdemeanor), one count of Unlawful Imprisonment in the 2nd degree (a class “A” misdemeanor), and one count of Harassment in the 2nd degree (a violation). Troopers allege that, during the evening of November 21st, while at a residence in the Village of Savona, Nichols physically restrained and repeatedly struck a female in the home while in the presence of two children less than 17 years of age, with his actions likely to be injurious to their mental, moral, or physical welfare. Nichols was arraigned in the Town of Campbell Court before T/J Patricia Horton and remanded to the Steuben County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in the Village of Savona Court on 12/04/17 at 8:00 a.m.
