Joseph Wyatt, 85, passed away Monday, (November 20, 2017), at Clifton Springs Hospital.
A funeral mass will be Friday, (November 24, 2017) at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 25 Center Street, Waterloo. Burial will follow in Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Romulus, N.Y.

Joseph was born on March 12, 1932, in Benton Center, N.Y. the son of the late Frank and Mildred (Lacomb) Wyatt. He was a 1950 graduate of Waterloo High School. He served our country in the Army from 1954 to 1956. He retired as a Drafter/Planner from American Can, Geneva. After retirement he worked at the Syracuse/Rochester Auto Auction and was an avid Yankees fan and enjoyed bowling and golfing. In 2009 he was inducted into the Waterloo High School Sports Hall of Fame for excelling in baseball, basketball, football.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 65 years, Edith M. Wyatt of Waterloo; his daughter, Nancy (John) Campbell of Lodi, Calif.; his son, Joseph (Kelly) Wyatt, Jr. of Waterloo; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; his sister, Beverly Wyatt of Waterloo and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, Joseph is preceded in death by his sisters Dorothy Larsen and Emily Lehman; and his brother, Nelson “Bud” Wyatt.
