Jane E. Maslyn, age 92, passed away peacefully Monday (November 20, 2017) at Newark Manor Nursing Home with her loving family at her side.
Friends may call Friday (Nov 24) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the R.A. Patrick Funeral Home 26 West Main Street, Clifton Springs. A Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 25) at St. Felix Church, Clifton Springs. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Felix Church, House of John or the Clifton Springs Fire Department in Jane’s memory.
Jane was born April 23, 1925, in Clifton Springs the daughter of the late Edward and Bernetta Maslyn. She was a member of St. Felix Church Rosary and Alter Societies. She was also a member of the Farm and Home bureau. Jane was previously active in Cooperative Extension and 4H. She enjoyed to travel and had an infectious laugh. Jane was lovable and outgoing, she could be described as the Queen Bee. Most important to Jane was family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt.
She will be sadly missed by her children Stephen (Julia) Maslyn, Susan (Alfred) Cooper, Thomas (Cynthia) Maslyn, Peter (Kathy) Maslyn, Paul (Sylvia) Maslyn, George (Judy) Maslyn, Michael Maslyn, Christopher Maslyn, Teresa (Mike) Maslyn and Mary (Frank) Maslyn; many grandchildren; and great- grandchildren; niece, Ann Dennison. Jane is predeceased by her husband, Paul; son, Daniel; great grandchildren, Mason and Cory Gage.
