A Waterloo man is facing a 2nd-degree burglary charge.
25-year-old Robert Rickerson is accused of stealing a safe out of a village home on Thursday afternoon.
Rickerson is being held on $10,000 bail, and is due back in court Tuesday morning.
The Waterloo Police Department reports that on November 16th, 2017 at about 1:35pm, officers arrest Robert C. Rickerson, age 25, of 1 Locust St in the Village of Waterloo. Rickerson was charged with Burglary in the second degree (class C Felony), Petit Larceny (Class A Misdemeanor), and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana (Violation). The charges stem from an incident where it is alleged that Rickerson entered a residence unlawfully and stole a safe. Rickerson was arraigned in the Town of Waterloo Court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $10,000 cash/$20,000 insured bond bail. Rickerson is scheduled to appear in the Village of Waterloo Court on November 21st, 2017 at 9:00am.
