Prosecutors say the case of a Pennsylvania man accused of killing a Big Flats man during a home invasion last week could go before a grand jury very soon.
The Corning Leader reports extradition proceedings have begun against 32-year-old Curtis Burrows, who is accused of fatally shooting 60-year-old Timothy Webster at his Reasor Hollow Road home and stealing his truck.
Authorities say Burrows also tried to abduct a woman in Corning prior to the fatal shooting.
Steuben District Attorney Brooks Baker says they’ve filed a kidnapping charge, and Chemung County District Attorney Weeden Wetmore says a warrant has been issued for burglary.
More charges, including homicide, are pending.
