Its a new tool in the war on heroin and opioid addiction in Yates County. The Finger Lakes Area Counseling and Recovery Agency, better known as FLACRA, recently received COTI, which stands for the Center of Treatment Innovation. FLACRA’s Lynn Seaward says this allows them to get victims into treatment quicker.
District Attorney Valerie Gardner says this is a huge asset for the county to have.
