Sally C. Jewell, 79, of Cato, passed peacefully at home with family beside her following a year-long battle with cancer on Nov. 4, 2017. A graduate of Oswego High School, Sally was formerly employed at Syracuse University, Jordan Wire Co., Marshall Manor, Critz Pharmacy, and Mantz Pharmacy where she was a pharmacy assistant.
She was predeceased by her parents, Floyd and Frances Clark; brother, Floyd K. Clark, and her first husband, Robert Jewell.
Surviving are her husband, Alec “Joe” Wieczorek; two daughters, Christine (Dan) Bernard, of Schenectady, and Laura Jewell, of Auburn; brother, Donald (Charlotte) Clark, of Baldwinsville; a granddaughter, Madison Bernard; five nieces and one nephew.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Bush Funeral Home, 120 E. Main St. (Route 5), Elbridge. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, Sally requested that donations be made to the following organizations, American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
