The 2017 vintage is shaping up to be another solid year across the winemaking spectrum. After a mild winter and a wet spring, the vineyards were poised to yield an above-average crop. When August turned cool many of us were concerned the grapes would not have enough time to ripen before the first frost. Alas, September and October turned everything around, providing us the much needed warmth and dry conditions needed for flavor development. It is truly an uncommon occurrence to have a bountiful harvest coupled with such a high degree of quality. Now, with all the reds in, we are feeling very fortunate and looking forward to sharing the 2017 vintages with you in the new year.

The long anticipated 2015 Syrah is finally here!…
Ripe, luscious black cherries and currants are framed by whispers of berries and spice in this enticingly fruit forward Syrah. A showcase of fresh, primary fruit, it’s juicy and delightfully gulp-worthy. Pair with duck breast with balsamic cherry reduction or lamb ragout.
