A 41 year old Bronx man is in Yates County Jail following his arrest late Tuesday night on multiple drug charges.
Jamal Fish was observed by Penn Yan Village Police leaving a known drug area behind a closed business on East Elm Street around 10 o’clock. Officers detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside his vehicle. Fish was found to be in possession of hallucinogenic mushrooms, more than two ounces each of concentrated cannabis and individual packaged marijuana, along with scales and other drug paraphernalia. Fish faces multiple possession charges, including felony criminal possession of a controlled substance.
During his arrest, it was discovered Fish is wanted out of Hudson County, New Jersey, on a dangerous drug warrant. After his arraignment, Fish was sent to Yates County Jail without bail because of previous felony convictions.
