There will be trash talking at Wednesday’s Geneva City Council meeting.
City Manager Matt Horn said on the Finger Lakes Morning News Council will hold the first reading of an overhaul of the long outdated solid waste ordinance.
The city has been working closely with the trash haulers to standardize trash pickup and bring the ordinance in line with current practices.
Also on the agenda are includes resolutions to approve labor agreements with the Police and Public Works Laborers unions. Horn said council members have been working to keep compensation costs down.
