Congressman Tom Reed publicly reacted Tuesday to comments made by Governor Andrew Cuomo over the weekend that the actions of he and fellow western New York Congressman Chris Collins voting in favor of the Trump Administration budget were “treasonous against the state” and called them modern day Benedict Arnold’s. Cuomo said the two voted against what their constituents want. Reed disagrees.
Reed was joined by House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy of California in calling out their state’s respective governors to find ways to work together.
Cuomo calls President Trump’s federal tax reform proposal a “death blow” to New York State.
