An Auburn man received a Halloween trick early Tuesday, when he was charged for DWI and having more than twice the legal limit of alcohol in his blood system.
State Troopers stopped 49-year old Donald Condes on Seymour Street in the City of Auburn for having no tail lights. He was placed under arrest after failing multiple standard field sobriety tests and was transported to the State Police barracks in Moravia where he provided a breath sample of .17% BAC.
Condes was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a BAC greater than .08%, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and insufficient tail lamps. He was arraigned in the City of Auburn Court and remanded to the Cayuga County Jail with no bail and is scheduled to appear in the City of Auburn Court at a later date.
