Auburn City Council is in the final phases of updating the city’s zoning code. Council decided last night to hold two public hearings at its meetings in November before voting to approve the new code on December 7. It’s the first major update of the code since 1991.
City Clerk Chuck Mason said on Friday’s Finger Lakes Morning News it’s nearly the end of a couple of years of a lot of meetings.
Mason added the proposed final draft is a hefty read at over 200 pages.
The first public hearing will be on November 2nd. The proposed final draft will be presented at the meeting on Tuesday November 21 before a hearing on the final draft is held at the November 30th meeting.
