24th District Democratic Party candidate Dana Balter was a guest speaker at Tuesday’s Auburn Rotary Club luncheon.
The doctoral candidate and visiting assistant teaching professor at Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs outlined her progressive platform, including her support for single payer health insurance.
During the question and answer session following her prepared remarks, she criticized Congressman John Katko for his lack of accessibility.
She was also critical of his failure to do more when it comes to health care.
Balter will face Manlius businesswoman Anne Messenger in the Democratic primary.
