Arthur L. Mastellar age 86, died on Friday (October 13, 2017) at his home.
Friends may call on Friday (October 20) from 4-7 p.m. at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps. Funeral services will be held on Saturday (October 21) 10 a.m. at the Oaks Corners Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.

Mr Mastellar was born on January 6, 1931 in Fayette, N.Y. the son of the late Arden and Hazel Shaner Mastellar. He was a 1948 graduate of Waterloo High School. He retired from the American Can in Geneva. Mr. Mastellar was a charter member of the Twilight Raomers Motorcycle Club and Friendship squares, square dance club. He and his wife traveled to almost every state and enjoyed spending their winters in Florida for almost 20 years. He enjoyed Country Music, gardening and cooking. Most important was his family.
He is survived by his son, Dan Mastellar of Detroit Michigan; daughter, Roberta “Bobbie” Totman of Geneva; grandchildren Trevor (Miriah) Totman, Mollie Totman, Lucy Mastellar; brother, Leo (Pat)Mastellar of Phelps; brothers in law Richard Day of Phelps, Ernest (Sylvia) Day of Clifton Springs; sister in law, Doris Day of Oaks Corners. His K-9 companion, Greta.
He was predeceased by his wife, Lucy Mastellar; and brother, Jay (Armeda) Mastellar.
