Starting off as a bunch of kids in Skaneateles, the Dean Brothers Band went on to become Central New York’s ‘Fab Four’. The three brothers (Bob, John & Peter) and a friend (Holly Gregg) who lived across the street have now earned Hall of Fame honors from the Syracuse Area Music Awards and found a great deal of inspiration from groups such as the Beach Boys, and most importantly, the Beatles.
As kids, they remember the time of the British Invasion and listening to WABC in order to learn about their music and work on their own. They began learning using ukuleles but soon transitioned to guitars.
Watch the Dean Brothers sing on Channel 9’s Bridge Street.
