The City of Geneva invites adults and families with children of all ages to climb aboard a variety of public safety and community vehicles that will be on display at the Geneva Recreation Complex for The City of Geneva’s first-ever Touch-a-Truck event, Monday, October 9th.
This free community event is hosted by the City of Geneva’s Recreation Department and takes place from 9:00am to 12:00pm in the south-end parking lot of the Geneva Recreation Complex.
Families will have the opportunity to touch, sit-in and explore vehicles from a number of different industries. City vehicles will include multiple fire trucks, including a rescue truck and ladder truck, two city police vehicles, Geneva’s DPW equpiment, the Recreation Departments retired Zamboni will also be onsite. Community groups also showcasing vehicles includes; Wadham’s Enterprises 65ft tractor trailer, Finger Lakes Ambulance and even LifeNet’s helicopter.
Kids can meet “Chase” from Paw Patrol.
Community groups will also be hosting booths that morning; Geneva Reads will giving away free vehicle themed books. There will also be a bounce house from
Jumping Jacks Party Rentals.The Buffalonian Food Truck will be on hand.
The community can also visit the Recreation Complex for its first day of public ice skating from 10am-12pm and 2-4pm. There will be specials such as $2 admission and $1 skate rentals. Purchase a $2 raffle ticket for a free season pass.
