A 21 year old man has been arrested for allegedly throwing a kitten out of his pickup truck’s window on a Washington County, New York roadway.
According to the Albany Times-Union, the incident happened September 26th on Route 22. Witnesses say Christopher Normile tossed the 4 week old kitten out of his window and continued driving. State Police were given a description of Normile’s pickup truck, which was located in Yates County Friday.
The Dresden man was charged under the state Agriculture and Markets Law and was also ticketed for driving with a suspended license.
The kitten was taken to an animal hospital and treated for its injuries.
