In college action, in a game you heard on Finger Lakes News Radio, Syracuse dropped a road tilt at NC State, 33-25, to fall to 2-3 on the year. Also, Hobart took a 24-21 loss at Ithaca, dropping the Statesmen to 3-2.

In boys soccer, Naples downed Honeoye, 2-0; Bloomfield bounced Marcus Whitman, 6-1; Wayne over Penn Yan, 2-0; Victor edged Canandaigua, 1-0; World of Inquiry upended Pal-Mac, 4-1; Pittsford Sutherland nipped Geneva, 1-0; and Tully topped Cato-Meridian, 3-0.
On the girls side, Naples over Honeoye, 1-0; Pal-Mac pounded Penn Yan, 5-0; Waterloo easily over Romulus, 4-1; Wayne whupped Geneva, 10-0; Newark squeaked by Mynderse, 2-1; and Victor beat Gates-Chili, 1-0.
In college men’s action, Hobart and Bard drew at 1; Cayuga CC topped Herkimer, 3-2; Wells blanked Morrisville St., 3-0; FLCC tripped up Jefferson CC, 3-2; and Keuka victorious over SUNY Poly, 2-1.
In women’s action, William Smith shutout Bard, 3-0; Cayuga CC hammered by Herkimer, 9-0; Wells fell to Morrisville St., 2-1; FLCC snuck by Jefferson CC, 1-0; and Keuka and SUNY Poly played to a scoreless draw.
In field hockey, William Smith doubled up RPI, 6-3; and Oneonta dumped Keuka, 5-1.
