On Monday, September 25, 2017, The Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Jonathan W. Wellington, age 33, of 192 Ovid Street, Seneca Falls, New York following a family problems call. Wellington reportedly pushed a local resident to the ground and held them there preventing them from leaving. He also forced the victim to disconnect a 911 call for assistance. This disturbance was in the presence of a child. Wellington was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, unlawful imprisonment in the second degree, harassment in the second degree and criminal mischief in the fourth degree. Wellington was arraigned in the Seneca Falls Town Court and released on his own recognizance. Wellington is scheduled to reappear in the Seneca Falls Town Court on 10/02/2017 at 5:30 PM. A stay away order of protection was issued.
