Kenneth (Kenny) Edward Jepsen, age 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, (September 26, 2017), at the Homestead Nursing Home, Penn Yan, N.Y. Kenneth was born in Penn Yan on March 9, 1937, to Arthur C. and Ellen Davy Jepsen.
Friends my call Friday, (September 29, 2017), from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Weldon Funeral Home in Penn Yan. A memorial Service will follow at 2 p.m.
Kenneth was a long time dairy farmer and then cash crop farmer for EILO Farms, later he worked for the Town of Barrington, Highway Department and various vineyards. He enjoyed hunting, watching wild life, taking long rides in the country side. Also, Kenneth enjoyed antique tractors and cars, and watching NASCAR.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Pauline Farman Jepsen; his sons Daniel (Cyndee) Jepsen, Darwyn (Mary) Jepsen, Larry Jepsen; his daughters Cyndie (Dave Fleming) Jepsen, Barb (Rich) Washburn, and Janis (Rodney Busch) Jepsen; his grandchildren Thom (Kate Silverstrim) Jensen, Christian Jensen, and Michele Kenyon, Stephanie (Sean) Kokkeby, Jonathan (Shauna) Walczak, and Jennifer Walczak; great grandchildren Collin and Ayden Jensen, Trevor Harris, Savannah and Christina Jensen, Mikala and Brayden Kokkeby, Grace, Augustine, Adeline and Benedict Walczak, and Giovanni Latshang; his older sister, Beverly (Harold) Chidsey; younger brother, Dale (Pete) Jepsen; two nieces Debbie (Nancy) Chidsey, and Laurie Jensen, and former wife, Sue Jepsen and several other family and friends.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Ellen Jepsen; brother-in-law, Harold Chidsey. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to a charity of one’s choice. The family of Kenneth wishes to thank the staff at the Homestead for their compassionate and loving care given to their husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
