Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies continue to investigate a three-car collision on Saturday that claimed the lives of two Cayuga County women.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Route 104 and Norris Road when 59-year old Deborah Caster of Port Byron stopped on Route 104 to make a left turn. She was stuck from behind by a pickup driven by 69-year old John Foro. The impact sent the vehicle into oncoming traffic, and it was hit by a motor home driven by 53-year old Edward Dodge of Sterling.
Caster died at Newark Wayne Community Hospital. Her passenger, 73-year old Anne Stornelli of Martville, was pronounced dead at the scene.
