As part of its commitment to social issues in Cayuga County, Auburn Public Theater on Thursday will be hosting Reversing the Stigma, a powerful documentary produced by NY State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services.
Anti-addiction advocate Joel Campagnola, who became an anti-addiction advocate following the heroin death of his son Nick, said on Monday’s Finger Lakes Morning News it presents a historical perspective on addiction, looking at what is happening in New York State, how it began and what is in store for the future.
He adds everyone should see this documentary, especially “people who don’t have a clue.”
Reversing the Stigma will be shown at 7:00pm on Thursday and admission is $10. Tickets are available at the door or from the Auburn Public Theater website.
