There are concerns about the future of the Institute for the Application of Geospatial Technology in the wake of the resignation of co-founder Bob Brower. Cayuga County legislator Tim Lattimore has been asking questions about the future of the IAGT since Brower stepped down in June.
Lattimore tells Finger Lakes News Radio the institute is too valuable of an asset to lose.
The IAGT is located on the campus of Cayuga Community College but is a separate entity and keeping it there could help the college.
The IAGT is a not-for-profit agency, and Lattimore wants to know what, if any, notice of change of leadership has been communicated to the state Attorney General’s Charities Bureau.
