Pauline Gard, 91, of Auburn, passed away Sunday, Aug. 20, 2017 at The Commons on St. Anthony. Mrs. Gard was born in Auburn on July 9, 1926 to the late Onifer and Mary Androsko Baran. She was employed for many years as a waitress at Springside Inn.
Pauline is survived by her daughters, Katherine “Kitty” (Patrick) Parisi, of North Carolina, and Paula (Dennis) Petrosino, of Auburn; her two sons, William M. (Terry) Gard, of Albany, and Thomas (Karen) Gard, of Whitehall; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Pauline was predeceased by her loving husband, William G. Gard in 2005; her sisters, Helen Donovan, Mary Evans, Elizabeth Ganey, and Mildred Krause; her brothers, Frank Baran, Stephen Baran, William Baran, and John Baran.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017 in Holy Family Church, 85 North St., Auburn. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Fleming. Friends are invited to call on the family from 4 to 7 p.m. (today) Tuesday at White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South St., Auburn.
