The Cayuga County Soil and Water Conservation District on Wednesday will hold a soil health seminar at Cornell’s Musgrave Research Farm on Poplar Ridge Rd. in Aurora.
Grazing Specialist Jason Cuddeback tells Finger Lakes News Radio Finger Lakes farmers have over the past several years been dealing with issues caused by conditions ranging from drought to extreme rain.
He adds soil health also impacts the condition of the water in the Finger Lakes.
Wednesday’s seminar runs from 10:00am to 3:00pm and includes a tour of the Cornell Research Center. Certified Crop and DEC credits will be offered along with lunch will even be provided.
