He was the perfect son who, like so many others, fell victim to opioid addiction. Three days after Christmas in 2015, Nick Campagnola died of a fentanyl overdose at the age of 20. On Saturday, his father Joel will lead hundreds of motorcyclists on the 2nd Annual Nick’s Ride 4 Friends that is all about helping people like Nick recover from their addictions.
Joel said on this morning’s Finger Lakes Morning News among the riders will be Congressman John Katko and Cayuga County DA Jon Budelmann.
The ride begins and ends at AT Walley in downtown Auburn. Registration is 10:00am and kickstands are up at noon. You can get more information at the Nicks Ride 4 Friends Facebook page.
