A tip to Penn Yan Police that a 31-year-old resident was driving a car without a license led to that man’s arrest Tuesday.
Officers stopped John Slack on Carpenter Lane and a check of his license showed 10 suspensions from various courts in Yates and Seneca Counties. Slack was jailed on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Additional charges are pending.
This wasn’t Slack’s first brush with Penn Yan Police. They arrested him July 30th for operating a motor vehicle with ten license suspensions. He was charged then with aggravated unlicensed operation and unlawful possession of marijuana.
