Utilities work on Tuesday and Wednesday will affect traffic in the area around Auburn Community Hospital.
City crews have closed the intersections of North St. and Lansing St. and North St. and Perrine St. for valve replacement. As a result, all traffic and access to the hospital will have to come from Nelson St.
The valves will be excavated on Tuesday and replaced on Wednesday. The water will be off from 8am until noon Wednesday on North St. from the dead end of Park Ave. to N. Park Ave. and on Perrine St. from North St. to the rail road tracks. It’s expected the roads will be reopened sometime Wednesday night.
In addition, there’s a sewer project that has closed Franklin St. from N. Fulton St. to S. Lewis St.
