One of five people arrested in connection with the murder of a Newfield man last December has pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge.
Melissa Minnick was charged for her role in the death of 30-year-old Camden Rundell which occurred during a robbery of his home during the early morning hours of last December 2nd. His body was found approximately 1-HUNDRED feet from the front door of his home.
The 39-year-old Ithaca woman was accused of buying several items at the request of her then-boyfriend, Roy Clements, to help the other four people take part in the robbery. Those items included sleeping pills and ski masks. Clements is charged with second-degree murder, robbery, and conspiracy after it was alleged he pinned Rundell down, causing him to die.
Minnick is expected to receive 5 years probation when sentenced.
