Two people were arrested Sunday following an alleged shoplifting incident that occurred at Tops Friendly Markets in Bath.
Daniel Hill is accused of stealing merchandise and injuring an employee when confronted. Hill managed to flee the store and was located at a nearby Walgreens a short time later. The Addison resident was sent to Steuben County Jail on charges of robbery and petit larceny.
Hill’s companion, 37 year old Kristy Snyder, of Lindley, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and a hypodermic instrument. Snyder was found to be in possession of two hypodermic needles and a small quantity of meth.
She was also sent to Steuben County Jail in lieu of bail.
